Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) is a very common error screen, usually caused by the particular Windows OS error which seriously affects Windows functionality.

Although BSOD screen most commonly appears during Windows boot up process, it may also occur while starting/closing some Windows applications, plugging in storage/media devices or accessing particular files/folders/drives.

 

Although they all look similar to each other, there are numerous versions of BSOD screens, each originating from a different reason. The most important part of every BSOD is en error code displayed at the bottom of the screen. This error code is the personal ID of every BSOD screen, which you can use to identify what’s causing the problem and how to fix it.
