Method 2: try running your app as administrator
This is actually a recommended way to run all applications and games if you’re using Windows 7 or newer OS. This way you’ll give your app the all privileges to access everything it needs within your OS.
The easiest way to do this is to right click on your application icon (shortcut or .exe file within the installation directory) and select “Run as administrator” option.
To make application always run with administrator privileges, follow the steps from Method 1 and within the compatibility tab, select “Run this program as an administrator” checkbox. When you click OK, Windows will remember your choice and apply administrator privileges each time you start your application.
