Universal Quick-fix Solutions For Any Windows Application Error

Method 6: check your HDD/SSD partitions for errors

Although it might me a pretty rare scenario, disk drive errors may also be a reason for Application Errors. This happens when some system files become corrupted during the reading/writing process.

Remember how often you were forced to manually restart your PC via restart button, when it stops responding or freezes? That’s exactly when this situation happens.

To check your HDD for errors, follow these steps:

1  Right-click on the drive you want to test for errors and choose Properties.

2  Select Tools tab and click on Check now button.

NOTE: If it is your primary partition that you are trying to check for errors, it will schedule a disc check for the next system reboot. In that case, restart your PC and wait for a disk check procedure to finish.
